Official figures put the redline for the Lamborghini Temerario at 10,000 RPM. However, the engineers and early videos (like the one in the screen capture above) have confirmed the car is safe at 11K RPM and can rev to 12K RPM at the very top end.
To achieve this, Lamborghini opted for a roller finger valvetrain, a technology typically used in high-performance engines like those found in sport bikes and racing cars. This valvetrain design helps prevent valve float, a common issue in high-revving engines with traditional valvetrains.
